Founder of Antuña & Partners, with a long track record in law and finance (in the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance since 2004), he is today one of the world’s most experienced lawyers in Investor-State arbitration.

During the past five years, he has intervened in more than 40 Investor-State arbitration cases, i.e., 11% of the total number of arbitrations in the world over that period.

In these arbitrations (ICSID, SCC, UNCITRAL), he has acted as counsel in 29 hearings on the merits, performing a multitude of opening and closing statements and a record of 42 cross-examinations.

He has worked with more than 100 arbitrators, including 8 of the 10 most appointed, and 6 of the 10 most appointed as President of the Tribunal in Investor-State arbitration.

Prior to that, as State Finance Inspector (on leave) and expert in international taxation, he performed financial and tax audits of domestic and multinational corporations, some of them listed in IBEX 35, FTSE 100 and NASDAQ 100.
